All of things can greatly affect the reviews you get, advertisements, your SEO, and many other opportunities.  Especially the backlinks!  Once you have quality posts/giveaways, etc. you will start to get the visitors, facebook & twitter followers you want - backlinks can be a little tougher though.  I can definitely see how this service would help those starting out their own website or blog to get the ball rolling.
