Just getting through the first chapter of this book and I knew it was something I would like! This book totally hit home for me. It discusses how we can get burnt out. All that cooking, cleaning, working, taking care of kids, blogging, etc. When does a mom take some time for herself? Just some ME time? We always tend to the needs of everyone else, but there has to be a point where we decide we need to take care of our self or we will just get burnt out!
This book talks about the Five Pillars to Fitness and goes in to depth discussing these (Mindset, Nutrition, Strength Training, Burst Training, and Environment). It talks about how we should use food as FUEL (yep, it is not for comfort.... sad but true). The book also shares some great recipes!
This book is a program that is not only a diet and exercise program, but a change your life program. This is the program you want to KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF, and to have a happier you!
I think this book and the program is going to work excellent with my new "green smoothie habit"! I really feel the exercise program (and just life make over program) this book is about will really work for me! It will be nice to focus on ME and getting fit and being happy and enjoy all the benefits that it will bring my family!
