I am a tight wad.  I admit it.  I am really almost proud of it.

The fact that I am so "cheap" means that I get more items, I am a HUGE bargain shopper.  Well I just found this awesome website CardWoo.com

CardWoo offers discount gift cards.   Right now you can get a $25 Kohls Gift Card for $22,  or how about an AMC Theatres $25 Gift Card for $20, or if you are a Nascar fan you can grab a Nascar.com $25 Gift Card for $18.75.  Pretty Awesome Right!!!   I got the AMC Theatres gift card and received it so quick (just a couple days) plus shipping is always free!

Well it gets better, gift cards can usually be used with coupons and other offers!  So for example there is word that some newspapers today have a $10 off $20 - OR - a $10 off $30 at Kohl's coupon stuck to the front.  If you got one of these coupons & buy a $25 Gift Card from CardWoo to Kohls for $22 you could get $35 worth of items for $22!!!

This would be a great way to get birthday presents or other types of gifts.  I totally love the idea of buying 10 or so giftcards and having them on hand for birthday gifts, graduation gifts, wedding gifts, etc.  Plus when you could get $250 worth of gift cards for $200 or even less (maybe more) depending on what they are that is quite the deal!!!

My Fitness Trainer - Review & Giveaway (U.S. Only)

It's not that I need to lose weight.  I really don't "NEED" to.  Sure I would like to, but don't feel like I am overweight - just not at my ideal weight.  Really though, I want to firm up, and most of all just want to feel better.  I know my shoulder (which ALWAYS ALWAYS hurts) doesn't seem to hurt that much after exercising for a month every day....  now if I would just continue - I've only made it past 1 month once.

I was pretty excited to try My Trainer Fitness because I am always excited for something new in the Fitness department.  I was doing the Jillian 30 day Shred quite a bit, but ya know how you get burnt out after a year of the same thing - yep, I am there.

My Trainer Fitness sent me these awesome cards to review and a hook (like the ones used for rock climbing kind of) to hook all the cards togther.  I love this hook because it makes them much more convenient to carry around!

The cards explain everything so that ANYONE can understand.  Really my 9 year old could totally get it!  I got the HOME version and it talks about the Guidelines for choosing weights, how to use the book, instructions for each workout, etc.  There are cards for Day 1 - Day 6 that have your workout set out for you 15 minutes of the workout is described on the front of the card, and 15 minutes on the back.  It also has pictures of the workouts on the bottom so if you don't understand what a "Chest Fly" is then you look at the pictures so you know how to do it.  On Day 7 you rest but there is still a card!  This last card described tips on your form, which I know are great for me because I know that form is just as important if not more than how much you do!  I mean, Quality over Quantity right?

I love these workouts - they don't make you feel like you are literally going to kill over, but you feel it and it is a true workout.   It is hard but not so hard that you don't want to do it, it is just right.  I really love these cards and I think they are going to help me get to my ideal weight and help me feel more fit and energized!

The Dirty Truth is MyTrainerFitness has great Fitness programs that you don't need your own personal trainer for!  They take all the guess work out of what needs to be done and they lay the whole exercise plan out for you!  These cards are great - I don't know that I will use them every day at home for sure because I do like exercise videos, riding bikes, or a good hike sometimes instead.  However, I will be using these cards at least every few days and anytime I want a workout outside without going anywhere or anytime I leave town!!!

ShuGizmo Review & Giveaway (U.S. Only)

 Getting chores done around my house can be quite a joke.  Really, I am constantly looking for something that can get my son excited to help, and never succeeding!  The last thing a 9 year old boy wants to do is clean. 

Well I did a review for ShuGizmo.com and they sent the hat, the wrist bands, some gizmo kits, and an I Can Merit Board.  My son had his hat decorated before I could get the merit board ready.  My daughter was busy complaining (whining) because she wanted to take over the hat and wrist bands.  My favorite is for sure the Merit board.  I finished listing my sons responsibilities on the board and let him have a look.  I wrote an amount next to each item (ranging from 5 cents to 50 cents) and explained how we could use this to keep track of what he does.  At the end of the week we will total it up and he will get paid allowance.  You should have seen him light up.  Not only is this board cool and fun, but a great way to keep track of what was actually done and where we need to work on getting things done.

I am so relieved to have him so excited about using this Merit Board and helping out around the house.  I also love that the Gizmo Kits can be used on any of the items.  Pictures of the items I received are below.

The Dirty Truth is...  ShuGizmo has great items and they are so FUN!  I think my son will like them for a while but think maybe kids over 10 or so would think they are "too old" for these.  The "I Can Merit Board" is by far my favorite and it is going to make my life much easier.  I might even make it to where if he gets a certain amount done he can keep one of the gizmo's to use on his hat or wrist bands!  These would make a great gift for kids, or for a mother who is trying to get some help around the house!

The challenges of a nine year old and two year old sharing a room!

Well as I've already told you we spent the last weekend moving both kids to where the office was, converting my sons old room into a toy room, and moving the office to my daughters old room!

We found some wooden bunk beds for $50 and went and got them.  My son was so excited to share a room with his sister and have bunk beds!  Granted, she is not in a bed yet.  She still likes the comfort of the crib (unless she really doesn't want to nap then she begs for the bed so she can run wild.)

Well most nights we lay her down and then my son goes to bed half hour later so she is already asleep.  Well when he went in tonight she was not already asleep.  I am down stairs and I can hear singing, whining, giggling, etc.  Come to find she wanted to sleep in bed so her brother took her out of her crib.  She then would not stay in bed so he put back in the crib.  I sneak up the stairs to play the part of the eaves dropping mother that I truly am.  She is singing the ABC's (or rather attempting to) and he is giggling.  It is now more than an hour past bed time so I go in with my serious voice and tell them both goodnight and to go to bed.  She keeps singing and he cannot hold back the giggles, I try to tell him he has to be quite or he'll go to bed early tomorrow but come on......  I can barely hold back the giggles either.  I sit in front of the crib and tell her goodnight, she kisses me, I tell her "No more singing the ABCs" so she naturally with the reminder starts singing them again.

Needless to say neither are going to want to get up in the morning, and hopefully this does not go on every night.  Really though, how do you put an end to this behavior when you can't hold a straight face with how cute they are being despite the hour!  They are just the cutest kids and for 7 years difference they are such a cute brother & sister!
