GIANI GRANITE REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

When we bought our house it was the peak of the housing market.  You would be amazed at some of the dumps we looked at while trying to find a house in our price range.  Then we found "Our Home" and really liked it - great neighborhood, enough room, big yard, etc.  Everything we needed.   Well needless to say we owe more on our house than it is worth, the market dropped a lot right after we moved in - now you could buy a house with more room, knotty alder cabinets, and granite counters for less than we paid - it makes me sick, but what can you do?

Well.....  to start with you can give the house you are in these upgrades.  Well who can really afford these luxury upgrades when you are already upside down in your house who wants to dump thousands or tens of thousand more into their home?  Not me!  Luckily though Giani makes a Granite Counter Top Paint!  I have seriously told my husband in the past that I wish their was such a product on the marked - little did I know, THERE IS!

We have cultured marble counters in all of our bathrooms and it is an ugly white that always looks dirty.  To top it all of....  our window sills, shower walls, etc are all made of this!  Makes me crazy!  I got the Bombay Black Granite Paint to review and LOVE IT - I was worried at first, would it really work - would it look okay - YES!  It works just as good as they say it does if not better, and surprisingly was actually fun to do and watch the transformation.  My one suggestion would be to FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS - one of them being remove old caulking and replace with paintable caulk.  I thought ours probably was but I was wrong, it still turned out great but it would have saved me some time and been easier if I had solved my patience issue and took the 5 minutes to take out the old caulking and put in the new caulking!

Check out these before and after pics and tell me these results are not amazing!

Ugly White Cultured Marble Before Giani

Close up so you can see they really are horrible!
 My Beautiful New Counter Top
Can you believe the transformation?  I wish you could see all the beautiful colors in it but with the glare on the black it is hard to get a picture that does my new counter justice!  (Even though the pics still do look pretty great!)  It did my bathroom counter no problem and I still have enough to do my sons bathroom and I think I will buy some of the Chocolate Brown to do our Main Bath!  I cannot wait and cannot believe you can upgrade your counters for such a good price!

Check out these pictures From the Giani Website too!  (The top one is their before and after picture and the others show you some of the possibilities with Giani Granite).

This picture is from the Giani Website and is their property and is being used to give further proof in my review of what great things you can do with Giani.
