Squeezurts Review & Giveaway

If you have little ones I am sure you know how much most kids love frozen treats!  Even better than frozen treats are the ones they can push up - my kids just LOVE these!  They always have.  It's silly how kids work.....  you buy a case of yogurt and they don't get touched or if so they are half eaten.  If you buy the Gogurts in the tube they eat them right up, maybe they don't know it is still just yogurt?  So when I found out about Squeezurts I was pretty intrigued.  Maybe I could make all these great push up treats right at home (instead of spending the small fortune most of them cost).

A little about Squeezurts straight from their site
"SqueeZurts are reusable, refillable squeeze snack tubes that can be filled with anything you can come up with.  On top of the versatility and health benefits SqueeZurts allow, also reduce waste by reusing SqueeZurts over and over again.**"
I was excited to look through the cupboard & experiment with what I could use!  My daughter loves Mandarin oranges so as soon as I saw the can I knew what to use!  I threw them in the food processor to blend them a little and then poured them in the bottle to squirt it easily into the tubes.  It took a matter of minutes to complete the whole process.  Then on to the freezer they went....
My daughter eating her Mandarin Orange Squeezurt Treat & Loving It!
The Dirty Truth is Squeezurts are not only a money saver but they allow you to quickly and easily make a fun treat for your kids with whatever you have on hand!  We will be trying Yogurt next & I am sure they will love that too!  I was really amazed at how simple the whole process was.  The Li'l hands sleeves are made of PUL and work great and keeping the treat from freezing your little ones hands - whenever I forgot to give my daughter the sleeve she quickly reminded me!  Rinsing them out can take a little longer depending on what you use (the Mandarin Oranges took a little bit to get all the pulp out but I am sure Yogurt will be a cinch!)  These are a big hit at my house & I think we will be needing to get more tubes because they go through the frozen treats quite quickly and when you can make them from something healthy why stop them!

we'd probably put smoothie in it! what a great idea, since my kids love gogurts!

I love your idea of using fruit! Bananas, mandarin oranges, pineapple, peaches...maybe all together!

Thanks!
